Purposeful Play

The pre-academic program at The Speech School places an emphasis on communication skills and pre-school readiness using natural, playful experiences. We leverage young children's curiosity by providing fun, hands-on activities with joyful energy and enthusiasm. 

 

Our general curriculum includes a variety of theme-based lessons. We offer literacy circles, music, art and craft projects, purposeful play and movement time. Small class sizes and exceptional teachers and therapists allow The Speech School to offer a safe, nurturing, environment. We ensure each student receives the individualized attention and encouragement they need to feel comfortable in their first school experience.

Parent and family support is built right into our curriculum with excellent communication and home extension activities. You are your child's first and best teacher. We want parents and families to partner with us to make coming to The Speech School the highlight of their week.
